Hello~ I thought I'd take a moment to extend an offer to those of you I've offered to share my work with. How about some of you--or all of you, if we can fit in the tent-- come over, and we can have a dinner while we discuss our theories? It would be a good way for the researchers here to get to know one another better ♥ What do you think?

Ah♥~ [he stretches and grins widely] I'm feeling much better this week. In fact I've rather got a lot of pent up energy that might be worth expelling in training or a spar~

[he suddenly turns very serious] You know, I should have known better than to use those stupid new showers. For once I thought maybe they might not do anything to us and actually let us have something good. [points to a small pile next to the computer] Twenty three candy worms were stuck in my hair. TWENTY-THREE. It was disgusting and I wound up having to bathe back at the onsen anyway.

[leans back to pout a bit and mutters] Honestly. After all this time you'd think they'd throw me a bone. [shrugs and sighs, the smile returning] I got it all out, so I suppose now isn't the time to be disgruntled. I'm sure good things are just around the corner♥

My hope had been that I'd be able to be back from my semi-hiatus by now, but as it turns out....yeah, not so much. Since Thanksgiving is next week and all but one of my classes are not going to be meeting, my schedule is kind of cramped to get things done. I've got an illuminated manuscript to work on and an annual report to have ready to go by the next week. And illustrations for a children's book and some other stuff too and...blahhh stressful. @A@ A-Anyway. I'm extending my semi-hiatus out for a few more weeks, until the end of this quarter. I'll still be around as much as possible but..uh.. I'm not exactly sure how much that will be. I guess trying to work on posting more often will have to take a backseat.

[Ashura is surrounded by a disturbingly diverse assortment of cooking supplies. Sie holds a drooping, overcooked stalk of asparagus in one hand, and a scribbled down recipe in the other, and is looking quite confused at both.]

No matter how much Ashura cooks it, it won't melt like the paper says... Is the paper wrong? Ashura found a whole tree of them, but all of them say things that are confusing.

Does anyone have any....better recipes?

There really have been a lot of bears lately... Has anyone seen Okita lately? I need to find him quickly!

I've been spending the majority of my time flying, lately. After that last curse, I've practically embraced my wings. I never thought I'd be happy to be birdlike again.

During my trips, I noticed something unusual on the outskirts of the forest: bathrooms. They appear harmless, but knowing the owls, they probably don't work. However, I will test them out to be absolutely sure.

I should get back to work on my outfit.

Well, now that I've gotten myself settled back down and everything... including more smacks to the head than I can remember... just what is it with all these head smacks anyway? well, uh. Nice to see everyone again, I guess? Its been a while. Three months, according to what Oogushi-kun told me...

Anyway. Has anyone seen Shiroi around? You know, a giant silver wolf that doesn't go chewing on people's heads for once like that monster dog of Kagura's. I haven't seen him for a while so I was just wondering where he ran off to.

And even after all this time still no strawberry milk trees that I could find. These owls are out to kill me, I swear.

Since there is no way to get my manga published anymore...I think I'm going to quit. Maybe just be a sketch artist or something...

I wish Yuuya would visit more often...its lonely without someone to talk to.

We just implemented a temporary fix for our internal network and it *looks* promising. We'll let it bake in overnight and see how well it performs tonight and tomorrow.

Hi hi!

We've completed the majority of the move and had the site back up by 20:00 UTC (hey, look, I can post! You can read! Yay!) , but there's still some lingering issues that we need to clean up and are aware of so please be a little more patient while we wrap up the odds and ends.

I want to echo the lj_releases post where we thank burr86 and dormando for their ceaseless efforts, skill and knowledge. The LJ Ops and Engineering teams have/are *still* working their butts off but without burr86 and dormando's expertise, we could not have pulled this off.

For you techies, the slowness on our website is known, and the issue is currently isolated to oversubscribed ports on our core switches. That's direct from our vendor. Yeah, I know... Anyways, we're trying to implement a temporary workaround and we'll be looking to upgrade our hardware as a permanent solution. Please, hang in there a little longer!
